By accessing or using Bidoro, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Bidoro is a structured digital marketplace that connects buyers and sellers for the exchange of goods and services in a secure and accountable environment. Bidoro provides platform tools such as listings, messaging, payments facilitation, dispute processes, and delivery coordination, but is not a direct seller or manufacturer of items listed.

2. Eligibility

To use Bidoro, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old or using the platform under the supervision of a legal guardian
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Not have been previously suspended or banned from Bidoro

By using the Platform, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login details
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Providing truthful, current, and complete information

Bidoro reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or engage in suspicious activity.

4. Role of Bidoro

Bidoro acts solely as an intermediary platform that:

  • Enables buyers and sellers to find and transact with each other
  • May provide payment processing and delivery support
  • May intervene in disputes at its discretion

Bidoro does not guarantee the quality, safety, or authenticity of items listed by users.

5. Listings and Transactions

For Sellers

Sellers agree that:

  • All listings must be accurate and not misleading
  • Items must be legally allowed to be sold
  • Prices, descriptions, and images must represent the actual item
  • They will fulfill orders promptly once payment is confirmed

For Buyers

Buyers agree that:

  • They will review listings carefully before making payment
  • They will complete payment through approved Bidoro channels
  • They will not engage in off-platform payments

6. Prohibited Items and Activities

Users may NOT use Bidoro to list, sell, or promote:

  • Stolen goods
  • Illegal drugs or controlled substances
  • Weapons and dangerous items (where prohibited by law)
  • Counterfeit or pirated goods
  • Human body parts or illegal services
  • Any item or service that violates Nigerian law or applicable regulations

Bidoro may remove listings or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

7. Payments

Bidoro provides secure payment solutions.

  • Payments made through Bidoro may be temporarily held to ensure transaction security
  • Bidoro may charge service fees or commissions, which will be clearly disclosed
  • Users agree not to bypass Bidoro's payment system

Bidoro is not responsible for delays caused by banks or third-party payment providers.

8. Delivery and Logistics

Where delivery services are used through Bidoro:

  • Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary
  • Risk may pass to the buyer upon confirmed delivery
  • Users must provide accurate delivery details

Bidoro is not liable for delays caused by logistics partners beyond our control.

9. Disputes Between Buyers and Sellers

Bidoro may offer a dispute resolution process to promote fair outcomes.

  • Buyers must report issues within a specified timeframe after delivery
  • Sellers must cooperate in resolving complaints
  • Bidoro may request evidence from both parties
  • Bidoro's decision in platform-mediated disputes may be final for platform purposes

However, Bidoro is not a court of law and does not replace legal rights under applicable laws.

10. Fees and Charges

Bidoro may charge:

  • Transaction commissions
  • Delivery coordination fees
  • Promotional or premium listing fees

All applicable fees will be disclosed before users complete a transaction.

11. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use Bidoro for fraud or scams
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
  • Interfere with the operation or security of the Platform
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or data

12. Suspension and Termination

Bidoro reserves the right to:

  • Remove listings
  • Suspend or permanently ban accounts
  • Withhold funds related to suspicious or fraudulent activity

Especially where users violate these Terms or applicable laws.

13. Intellectual Property

All content on Bidoro (logos, text, software, design) belongs to Bidoro or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

Users grant Bidoro a license to display and use listing content for platform operations and marketing.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bidoro is not liable for:

  • Losses arising from user-to-user transactions
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities

Use of the platform is at your own risk.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Bidoro harmless from claims, damages, or losses arising from:

  • Your breach of these Terms
  • Your violation of any law
  • Your transactions with other users

16. Privacy

Your use of Bidoro is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your data.

17. Changes to These Terms

Bidoro may update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes. Continued use of the Platform after updates means you accept the revised Terms.

Bidoro Buyer Protection Policy

Bidoro is committed to creating a safe and trustworthy marketplace. Our Buyer Protection Policy is designed to give buyers confidence when shopping on the platform.

1. Payment Protection

When you pay through Bidoro:

  • Your payment may be held securely until the transaction is completed
  • Funds are only released to the seller after delivery is confirmed or the confirmation window has passed
  • If the seller fails to deliver, you may be eligible for a refund
  • All payments are processed through secure, approved payment channels

2. What's Covered

Buyer Protection may apply when:

  • The item you received is significantly different from the listing description
  • The item arrives damaged or defective
  • You received the wrong item
  • The item was never delivered
  • The seller misrepresented the condition, brand, or authenticity of the item

3. What's NOT Covered

Buyer Protection does not apply when:

  • You change your mind after purchase
  • The item matches the listing but you are unsatisfied with it
  • You damaged the item after receiving it
  • The transaction was completed outside of Bidoro's approved payment system
  • You failed to report the issue within the required timeframe

4. How to File a Claim

To request Buyer Protection:

  1. Report the issue within 48 hours of delivery confirmation
  2. Provide clear evidence such as photos, videos, or screenshots
  3. Cooperate with Bidoro's review process and respond to any requests for additional information
  4. Do not return the item until instructed by Bidoro

5. Resolution Process

Once a claim is filed:

  • Bidoro will review the evidence provided by both the buyer and the seller
  • The seller will be given an opportunity to respond
  • Bidoro may request additional documentation from either party
  • A decision will be made based on the evidence available
  • If the claim is approved, a full or partial refund may be issued

6. Refund Eligibility

Refunds under Buyer Protection:

  • Will be processed through the original payment method where possible
  • May take several business days depending on your bank or payment provider
  • May be partial if only part of the order is affected
  • Are subject to Bidoro's final determination

7. Abuse Prevention

To maintain fairness for all users:

  • Filing false or fraudulent claims may result in account suspension or permanent ban
  • Repeated misuse of the Buyer Protection system will be flagged and reviewed
